Martin Klimas • Is a German photographer born in 1971. • He obtained a degree in visual communication. • Has a number of exhibitions in Germany and abroad , San Francisco, and He is represented by Folley Gallery in New York and Bransch for commercial assignments. He’s done work for Bmw, Puckers, Dior, and Channel. • Klimas says his major influence was Hans Jenny, the father of cymatics, the study of wave phenomena. • The Camera he uses Hasselblad • known for his work surrounding high speed photography to capture moments otherwise invisible to the human eye.

Why does this artist speak to me? Martin Klimas’s creativity speaks to me. My first day attending this class I really didn’t realize how creative one could be behind a camera. Before taking this course I had minimal knowledge of photography. I almost was intimidated by my camera. However, after learning the camera features and techniques such as composition and design. I've become confident and fascinated with photography. When I saw Martin Klimas photos I knew that his art displays and gives a great examples of what we've learned this semester. Martin Klimas loves shooting moving objects using a fast shutter speed, doctorial ship, sharp and shallow depth of field. If I hadn’t taken this course I wouldn’t have been able to identify the components in a photo. That’s why I say knowledge is power.

What Can we learn from this Martin Klimas If we think outside the box with a vision exercising dictorial combined with a fast shutter speed and what we've learned this semester we all have the capability to capture unique beautiful art.
