期望與失望 Expectation And Disappointment

我們失望不是因為神的問題， 而是要對準神的話語。 Our disappointment about unanswered prayer is not God's problem, but we need to align our prayer to God's Word.

Unrealistic expectation brings about disappointments. Growth/maturity is learning to have realistic expectation, which is line with God's Word. It's a learning curve, requiring time and experience.

If your prayer is to ask God to fulfill your desires, He is not obligated to answer it; If your prayer is in accord with God's promises, it's His responsibility to see them through.

Proverbs 13: 12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

The heart may get sick, which is emotional sickness/mental illness. This includes depression, anger/bitterness/hatred, and despair/giving up.

中國人的智慧：「心病要用心藥醫」 “Heart sickness can only be treated by heart cure. “ 心藥：處理好失望。 HEART CURE: DEAL WITH DISAPPOINTMENT.

Accurate expectation comes from knowing God's will. We could put our hope in God's promises.

Manage Your Expectations

Managing Your Expectations： 1. 祂是主 Jesus is Lord. He's in charge. 2. 祂是愛 God is love.

Managing Your Expectations： 3. 祂是良善 God is good. He's righteous in all His ways.

Managing Your Expectations： 4. 萬事都互相效力， 最終都叫你得益處 God causes all things to work together for your good.

Managing Your Expectations： 5. 永恆的眼光 Perspective of eternity 6. 完全的信任！ Complete trust in the Lord!

Managing Your Expectations： 7. 對焦到神的心意 Align your expectation to God’s will.

CONCLUSION: 禱告沒有成就時，我們要如何才能 不失望，不失去信心？ What do you do when prayers are not answered?

Conclusion 1. 繼續祈求直到成就 Continue to pray till they happen.

Conclusion 2. 如果不是神的旨意就降服神， 相信神有更好的預備 Surrender to God's will, and trust that He has the best plan.

Conclusion 3. 調整你的期望， 更對準神的心意 Adjust your expectation to align with God's will.

Conclusion 4. 聚焦在神的美善，而非短暫的 挫敗，仍然起來贊美神！ Focus on God's goodness through praising Him instead of temporary setback.
