Answering The Question Through our research, we have found that there is significant influence in the area of arts and media in border towns, more specifically, between San Diego California, USA, and Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. They effectively create their own sub-genres: borderland artistic endeavors that reflect a blend of ideals and aesthetics emerging from a shared history and culture.
