Please come along. As a Parent at St Anne's You are Already a Member of the PFA We ask each and every family to pledge some time to help us during each year that your child attends St Anne's. Here is how you can get involved: • Come to a monthly PFA meeting • Attend and participate in events • Sign up as a volunteer for an event. • If everyone does a little, it won't fall on just a few people. Feeling adventurous? • Investigate if your employer offers charitable matching or similar programmes. Or help us with corporate fundraising. • Be an event project manager! We will pair you with someone who has done it before and can show you the ropes. • Take on a role as part of the committee. In the last 5 years the PFA have funded the following for the school: • Key Stage 2 laptops • New Trim Trail • Little Explorers Playground • School Defibrillator • The Blissful Garden • Outdoor sports equipment What is the PFA? • Wet weather games • Books St Anne's Parents and Friends Association is run by the parents and staff of the school to raise extra much needed funds for the school. • Netball & Football Team Kits, Posts With Government funding being reduced each year, it is now more important than ever that every parent of the school supports the PFA to raise funds for items that the school budget simply cannot afford. • Learn Pads Not only do we raise funds for the school but we also run events to encourage a close school community, giving parents and pupils time to meet other families and have fun together. • Laptops & Storage Trolley • Visualisers • Cameras and Science Equipment How do we raise money? Here are just some events we have held: • Christmas & Summer Fairs • Mother’s Day Stalls & Santa Visits • Easter Egg Hunts • School Discos • Good as New Sales • St. Anne’s Got Talent & Runway Shows • Textile Collections • Refreshments, Lolly and Bake Sales • Working Bees • Happy’s Circus But the possibilities are endless! We are always looking for new fun ways to raise money and bring the school community together.
