The capital city of Peru – The capital city in Peru is Lima – There is a temple there called Pucllana – Some places to check out are the Larco museum, the park of the reserve Larcomar (a mall). – It is on the central coast of Peru
Peru flag Reasoning: The red and white stripes were chosen because a man saw a flamingo with red wings and a white stripe (parihuanas). Another reason is that it is mirroring the old flag of Peru. The symbol in the middle is called the Peruvian coat of arms, it had on it a vicuna(the blue section), a cinchona tree (the white section), and in the red section is a coin filled cornucopia. These are all found in Peru.

It is celebrated to the holy patron of Peru, American, and the Philippines. – Immaculate conception, is a major religious feast day in Peru, and catholic regions around the world.
Typical food in Peru – A good meal to eat in Peru is the ceviche. It is a seafood meal with fish, lime, lemon, onion, and chili pepper – A good dessert during the long winter is the mazamorra morada. It includes purple corn, cinnamon and clove with a variety of fruits such as pineapple, cherry, peach and apricot. A drink thickened with sweet potato flour.
3 Best places to visit in Peru Lake Titicaca, is one of south Americas largest lakes. The water is known to be very reflective, and around this lake is a variety of wildlife. Lake Titicaca is also on the border of Bolivia, in the Andes mountain.
Lima, is the capital city of Peru and has many nice places to go to such as a mall, beach, and parks. A good mall you could go to is called the Larcomar, a good beach could be Villa and sand Pedro, and lastly a few good parks to go to are the park of the reserve, Salazar park, and park of love.
Cusco – Cusco is a beautiful city in the Peruvian Andes and has lots of architectural buildings from the past. It is the historical capital of the Inca Empire from the 13 th century to the 16 th century. In 1983 Cusco declared a world heritage.
