A clue: the initials are VP Vanishing point - this is where all lines appear to meet One - point perspective only uses one vanishing point. The line where the vanishing point sits is called the Horizon ALL pupils will be able to draw a cube in one and two-point perspective MOST pupils will be able to draw a cube and a cross in one-point perspective SOME pupils will independently be able to draw a cube, cross and lettering in one and two point perspective

Draw a line across the middle of your page - this will be your horizon 2. In the centre put a small dot or cross to show the vanishing point 3. Draw the front view of a cube 6. Add thick and thin lines and rub out your unwanted construction lines. 5. Decide on the depth of your cube then draw horizontal and vertical parallel lines 4. From each corner take a light line to the vanishing point.
