PERSPECTIVE DRAWING
ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE • One point perspective is a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single 'vanishing point' on the horizon line. It is a way of drawing objects upon a flat piece of paper (or other drawing surface) so that they look three-dimensional and realistic.
The last supper by Leonardo Da Vinci
Definition of two-point perspective. : linearperspective in which parallel lines along the width and depth of an object are represented as meeting attwo separate points on the horizon that are 90 degrees apart as measured from the common intersection of the lines of projection
Definition of three-point perspective. : linear perspective in which parallel lines along the width of an object meet at two separate points on the horizon and vertical lines on the object meet at a point on the perpendicular bisector of the horizon line.
Aerial perspective or atmospheric perspective refers to the effect the atmosphere has on the appearance of an object as it is viewed from a distance. As the distance between an object and a viewer increases, the contrast between the object and its background decreases, and the contrast of any markings or details within the object also decreases. The colours of the object also become less saturated and shift towards the background colour, which is usually blue, but under some conditions may be some other colour (for example, at sunrise or sunset distant colours may shift towards red).

Filippo Brunelleschi (Italian: 1377 – April 15, 1446) was an Italian designer and a key figure in architecture, recoganised to be the first modern engineer, planner and sole construction supervisor. He was one of the founding fathers of the Renaissance. He is generally well known for developing a technique for linear perspective in art and for building the dome of the Florence Cathedral. Heavily dependent on mirrors and geometry, his formulation of linear perspective demanded pictorial depiction of space.
