Please share a description of the other mentorship methods you are using to support

Please share a description of the other mentorship methods you are using to support your faculty (besides the University Personalized Research Mentorship Team model). • Informal check in's with faculty. • My department makes expectations clear. We are very collegial with respect to discussing how best to go about establishing a research program, and we have a highly organized graduate program that includes an orientation for new graduate students (which lessens the pressure on a new faculty member to establish an appropriate environment. We work in instructional committees to discuss teaching. We have monthly department meetings. There has been no further need for mentorship. • At the department level each new faculty is assigned a mentor mainly to help with preparing grant proposals. • We have a single mentor, regular meetings with Department Head, constant Faculty Research Workshops, writing teams within the Department. In some ways, we view the whole Department as a Personalized Research Mentorship Team. In other ways, we encourage new faculty to develop their own group of informal mentors around research and teaching. • I ensure that our new faculty member is well connected to the strongest researchers for advice. • College mentorship program
