Professorial Chairs/Faculty Grants for AY 2015 -2016 1. Of a total of 30 Professorial Chairs, and 7 FGs, Ten out of 30 (10/30) PCs have been sent to the awardees as chosen by UPCM to date. Of the seven Faculty Grants, two have been awarded (2/7). There has been a complete stoppage of all administrative work at the UPCM and Diliman because of the COVID-19 crises. There are still PCs and FGs pending and in the pipeline. We will disburse the PCs/FGs as they are approved and communicated to us. 2. 8 Best Teacher Awards, were funded in December 2019. Two Fellowships in Ophthalmology were awarded, as well, and two Educational Grants for the UPIS recently in 2020 prior to the COVID-19 situation.

Salanga heirs by action of the BOG was finally disbursed to the heirs (nephews and nieces in Spring 2020) amounting to $139, 468. 11, from information provided by the Executor of the Salanga Estate. The residual amount of approximately $10, 000. 00 is left to UPMASA.

Necita Llorin-Roa Legacy � There is no bequest to UPMASA from our member Necita Llorin-Roa, MD ‘ 69. Her estate was given out to a St. Louis private foundation and to Washington University in St. Louis.

Looking Forward to AY 2020 -2021 � $30 K has been donated by Liberation

Looking Forward to AY 2020 -2021 � $30 K has been donated by Liberation Bongato -de Leon, MD ‘ 69 and Jesse de Leon, MD ‘ 69 at the end of 2018 for a new Professorial Chair in Pediatrics. All requirements have been met. No approval by the BOR has been received to date.
