People Matter Survey What is it? • A public sector employee opinion survey run

People Matter Survey What is it? • A public sector employee opinion survey run by the Victorian Public Sector Commission (VPSC). • It’s conducted annually. In 2018, approximately 93, 700 employees from 184 organisations across Victoria completed the survey. • Employees from all eligible Victorian public sector organisations can participate. • It asks questions about your experience of: − your role − your workgroup − your manager and senior leaders − your organisation − matters such as performance, development and diversity & inclusion. • It helps your organisation better understand employee engagement and job satisfaction and provide the best possible work environment for you. Over the past 12 months, organisations across the public sector have given valuable feedback on: • the survey structure and questions • the way the results are reported • the support the VPSC offers organisations to properly benefit from those results. Your new People Matter Survey will better serve you and your organisation, and enable a transparent, accountable, engaged and high-performing public sector that reflects the Victorian community.
