DISCIPLINE CODING • Disciplinary Reason 21 -Violation of Student Code of Conduct • The Behavior Location code must be 00 -Not Applicable • Behavior Location 01 -On Campus is not a valid code for Disciplinary Reason 21 and will cause PEIMS errors if used • Disciplinary Actions 01 -Expulsion or 05 -Out of School Suspension • Campus ID of Assignment must be set to “None” • Disciplinary Actions that take place on campus, example 06 – In School Suspension • Campus ID of Assignment must be set to the campus the student will be completing action • Partial Day Disciplinary Actions equal a full day • Partial Day Disciplinary Action codes can only be used for a single day • If the Disciplinary Action crosses multiple days and starts on a partial day that day should be coded as a full day

This report runs to Excel making it easy to sort and filter to check coding discrepancies in fields such as behavior location, length of consequence, action taken, etc. .

GRADUATION PLANS & ENDORSEMENTS • All 9 th – 12 th grade students must have a Graduation Plan. • All 9 th & 10 th grade students that are on the FHSP Graduation Plan must have at least one endorsement selected. • Any student that entered 9 th grade before the 2014 -2015 school year has the option of choosing one of the older graduation plans or the new FHSP endorsement plan. The additional plans are: • Minimum • Recommended • Distinguished • Since each district is unique the district is required to build graduation plans and determine endorsements offered based on course offerings.

If they are you must go into the student and delete the hours. • Contact hours are entered in the course sections. • If a student should not receive Contact Hours • Go into the Enrollment tab on student • Click on the Course Schedule and choose the course • Choose “Ignore Contact Hours” and save • Best practice is to make edits after course completion has been done
