Who can donate through PECSF? • Regular, part-time, or auxiliary employees • Employees on secondments • Any personnel receiving a T 4 issued by your pay office • *Retirees (*one-time donations by cheque only)

Donor Privacy Commitment • PECSF adheres to the Donor Bill of Rights Code • PECSF does not share or sell donor lists to any organization • We respect donors’ wishes to remain • anonymous & not be solicited from outside fundraising agencies PECSF will not give out details to any charity without explicit donor consent
How is your Donor Information used? Personal information is collected by the BC Public Service Agency for the purposes of processing & reporting on your pledge for charitable contributions to the Community Fund under Section 26 (c) of the Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act. PECSF only uses this information to: • • • Process donations Distribute receipts & thank donors Report to the CRA as required by law Record keeping Preparing Campaign Statistics
Privacy & Pledge Incentive Draws A pledge to PECSF automatically enters the person into the draw The pledge can be in any form available: Online bi-weekly payroll deduction, online one time payroll deduction, paper pledge form with donation or EMPLOYEES CAN ‘WRITE-IN’ TO REQUEST TO BE INCLUDED IN THE DRAW WITHOUT A PECSF PLEDGE OR DONATION TO ENTER WITHOUT A PLEDGE: PLEASE EMAIL YOUR WORKPLACE PECSF LEAD COORDINATOR @ THEIRNAME@gov. bc. ca SUBJECT: Your Ministry/Org PECSF DRAW PRIZE Your *PECSF Lead Coordinator is the only person in your entire organization who can receive donor names to conduct pledge-based prize draws. *Following required annual training & signed confidentiality agreement. This information cannot be shared.
