The task • Develop a community engagement strategy to support the BRG’s peatland restoration

The task • Develop a community engagement strategy to support the BRG’s peatland restoration program: • • analyse needs/opportunities, design, pre-test, document, present in collaboration with a community in Central Kalimantan or Riau facilitated by BRG field staff supported by Communication students from Universitas Indonesia • What are peatlands? Why do they need restoring? • What is an engagement strategy? • What is the socio-political-legal context in Kalimantan/Sumatra? • How do we develop a strategy in a participatory way?
