Prisoners Come Home After the peace treaty was signed, the North released all 591 American Prisoners of War (POWs). However, still today there a lot of Missing in Action (MIA) Americans that had fought in Vietnam. This has led to many suspicions that the North kept a lot of our men in prisons.
