There were 82 reported Close Calls of which 1 was significant; a hoist collided with a suspended steel frame, causing cosmetic damage to the hoist. Performance: • There were 5 minutes train performance delays registered in the period, caused by the slow release of a possession, resulting in a train being held outside the station. Project activity: • Project 2: MTSR: Eastern and Western barrels complete up to Bay 25. East and West barrel deck moved to Bay 24 – 40 revealing Southern end of the Trainshed. Deck reinstated and encapsulated on West Barrel. Removal of all huck net and toblerones to south of the footbridge. South Façade works complete and all scaffold removed. North Façade Scaffold erected. STS contract complete with minor outstanding snagging and defects to complete. • Project 3: All platform end monoliths complete. Heritage TVM’s in the booking hall: Heritage have ongoing concerns about the height of the TVM housing. LU/Tf. L/Df. T/ORR King’s Cross Square: Df. T/LU funding to be transferred to KXRP – in progress. Requirement statements to be finalised 21/3/12. Body of agreement finalised. Argent & KXC Station Square: Phase 2 works complete. Warranty to be agreed with KCCLP. TOCs generally Training: Training and familiarisation is now almost completed and on schedule. ATG’s: Verbal agreement reached with FCC for licensing the additional 3 gates on the STS. Funding agreement reached with EC for the 9 additional gates procured to facilitate the Southern Concourse works. Station Change: Final reserved matters close to reaching agreement. East Coast Travel Centre: Travel centre issues mostly resolved but adequacy of heating remains an ongoing concern. First Class Lounge: First Class lounge scheduled for handover to EC on the 5 th March. FCC TVMs: FCC has been proposing to claim under the indemnity if the TVM’s are moved too early causing a loss of revenue. TVM moves have been delayed to the night of the 16 th to maximise revenue. Hull & Grand Central No issues this period. Commercial Property Western Concourse tenants: Fit out on schedule to achieve on schedule opening of 90% of retail by the 19 th March. Station Management Team Entry into service: Station Walk out planned with the Station Manager to manage and agree priorities for station opening.
