PD Dr med Dipl Soz Tanja Krones After

PD Dr. med. , Dipl. Soz. Tanja Krones After finishing her studies in medicine, sociology, psychology and politics with her MD thesis in 2000, Tanja Krones worked as a medical doctor in internal medicine and as research fellow and project leader on ethics in reproductive biomedicine, University of Marburg. She formed part of the ethics liaison service at the University hospital since 2004. She was executive secretary of the research ethics commission (2006 -2009), senior lecturer in medical ethics since 2004 and finished her “habilitation” (2 nd Ph. D thesis for gaining full professorship) on a context sensitive bioethics in 2007. She is member of the German central ethics commission of physicians (ZEKO) since 2007, speaker of the working group on reproductive biomedicine and embryo protection in the academy of medical ethics (AEM) and of the specialist division of ethics and evidence based medicine of the German Network for evidence based Medicine. Since 2009 she is head physician of clinical ethics/executive secretary of the clinical ethics committee of the University hospital of Zurich at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics. 1

Today, working with the Allergists French Union and the UEMS Allergology S&B, she helps the European allergists wanting to move throughout Europe. 2
