(8) SURFACE MOUNT TECHNOLOGY (SMT), 1206 RESISTOR SOLDERING (1) 8. 1 The college will supply you with three each 1206 SMT resistors of different values, as well as one Test-Article PCB R 1 = 1. 5 K Ohms; R 2 = 22 K Ohms; R 3 = 10. 7 K Ohms Under the close guidance of your F 2 F lab instructor, you will prepare the Test-Article PCB for soldering, and then mount the three 1206 (12 mm x 6 mm) resistors onto it, in the marked locations, such that all values may be read in the upright position, without rotating the PCB.
