Elaine Tan Comeau 1991 Elaine is an enterprising mother of three young children, a wife, and a former elementary school teacher. She is the founder and CEO of the multiple awardwinning Easy Daysies, a visual magnetic scheduler to help children and families with their daily routines. Elaine was awarded the 2014 Canadian Mompreneur of the Year and has received the Chamber of Commerce Award for Excellence in Business, as well as an Award in Teaching Excellence. Her products are recommended by child psychologists, occupational therapists and educators.

Melody Li 2002 Melody is a half-time elementary Special Education teacher with the Toronto District School Board. She is also the Executive Director of a non-profit organization, Homeless Connect Toronto, which runs "one-stop-shop" events bringing support and services to individuals at-risk or experiencing homelessness. She is also an aspiring psychotherapist.

Esther Chan and William Chen 2002 Esther and William, both PCA alumni, got married

Esther Chan and William Chen 2002 Esther and William, both PCA alumni, got married in August 2009. They have two children – a two-year-old son, Benjamin, and a newborn baby girl, Emma. Esther is a high school teacher with the Toronto District School Board. William is a child protection worker with the Children's Aid Society.

Stephanie Kwan Chan 2002 Stephanie is a PCA lifer (From JK to Gr. 13). Currently working in Hong Kong as an international high school teacher, teaching journalism, media and filmmaking. “I have a wonderful family (husband Ricky and baby daughter Lauren). I still look back fondly at all the memories from my time in PCA!”

Tim Strickland 1991 Tim has been a church planter and pastor in Ontario and Alberta. Currently, Lead Pastor at Waverly Road Baptist Church, Toronto. Masters of Divinity, Tyndale Seminary. Doctor of Ministry in Leadership (Cand. ), Denver Seminary. Tim is married to Carol and they have three growing children, Jacob, Jessica and Chloe. “I look back fondly on my time at PCA as it was absolutely foundational to everything I have done since graduation. The academics were very strong and the spiritual grounding was essential as I learned so much about the Lord, the Bible and missions. ”

Kimberley Thorimbert 2006 Kimberley graduated from PCA in 2006. Graduated from Briercrest College with a degree in Christian ministry with a focus on worship leadership and youth ministry. Heavily involved in the secular and Christian music community in Prince George, BC. Youth pastor at Fort George Baptist church. Widowed in September 2014 due to the sudden passing of husband, Nathan. Testifying to the faithfulness of God.

Shane Jones 1989 Shane received his History. Education degree and played on the university baseball team in Tennessee Has taught and coached in high schools for 20 years in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Ontario. Shane has also coached for Athletes in Action, Scripture Union Sports, and worked as an Amateur Baseball Instructor with the Toronto Blue Jays. Currently serving as a teacher (Bible / Philosophy / Humanities) and Vice Principal of Durham Christian High School in Bowmanville, ON. Living in Bowmanville with wife Kelli and their two children (Katie 12 and Ben 6).

Sarah Park 2004 Sarah is the Communications Director for CARP, a national nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights and interests of aging Canadians. With a Masters degree in Public Policy, she works to bring policy changes to strengthen financial security, equitable access to health care, and freedom from age discrimination. In her spare time, she actively volunteers for Homeless Connect Toronto, a non-profit that serves individuals at-risk or experiencing homelessness, as the Communications Chair. Also serves with the Korean Professional Women's Association as the Civic Engagement Chair. She also serves with her husband in her community church.

Stephen Heemskerk 1983 Rev, Captain (Retired) Stephen Heemskerk has had the honour to serve the Lord for the past 26 years, fourteen of which ministering in several Evangelical Missionary Churches. In 2002 he joined the Canadian Forces and served our troops as their chaplain for 12 years. Presently retired due to a rare illness picked up while deployed to the Persian Gulf.

Reverend Dr. Daniel Scott (1981) and Kelly Williams Scott (1984) Daniel started at PBSA

Reverend Dr. Daniel Scott (1981) and Kelly Williams Scott (1984) Daniel started at PBSA (The Paul B. Smith Academy, now known as Peoples Christian Academy) the year the school opened in 1971. He was in grade four. BA, Trinity Western University, MCS and M Div, Regent College in 1987, Ph. D, Westminster Theological Seminary. He spent 2 years in the Peoples Republic of China teaching English to university professors in Taiyuan and Shanghai at Jiao Tung University. Vice President and Academic Dean at Tyndale University College from 2004 to 2010. Since 2011 has been the Managing Director of Save the Mothers. He is a tenured associate professor of Christian Ministries at Tyndale.

Reverend Dr. Daniel Scott (1981) and Kelly Williams Scott (1984) Kelly started at PBSA the year the school opened in 1971. She was in grade one. BA Honours, York University -English and Geography. Daniel and Kelly married in 1989. Kelly was a supply teacher at Holland Marsh District Christian School in Newmarket while raising their three children. She was commissioned by the Ontario Multi Faith Council to be a chaplain in long term care. She leads a weekly women's Bible study and gives leadership at St. John's Presbyterian Church to the Young Children and Worship program. She is studying to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.

Dr. Benjamin C. H. Kuo 1984 Benjamin is a full professor of clinical psychology

Dr. Benjamin C. H. Kuo 1984 Benjamin is a full professor of clinical psychology at the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor in Ontario. Dr. Kuo conducts and publishes research in the broad areas of cross-cultural psychology and multicultural counseling and training. Clinically, Dr. Kuo is a registered and practicing psychologist in Ontario. His clinical experiences extend to clients of diverse backgrounds and issues/concerns, including ethnic and non-ethnic individuals dealing with adjustment, relational, psychological and family problems. Dr. Kuo travels internationally and has lectured and provided training workshops in Taiwan, China, Thailand, Australia, U. S. and Canada. Currently, Dr. Kuo is Professor of Clinical Psychology and Coordinator of Adult Clinical Psychology MA-Ph. D Program at the University of Windsor Department of Psychology.

Alan Thorimbert 2010 Alan will be graduating from Queen's University with a Bachelors of Arts in Classical Studies and English. In September, he will be moving to Vancouver to participate in an internship with Inter. Varsity Christian Fellowship. He is excited to work with students trying to discover what it means for the Kingdom of God to come on their university campuses.

Greg Constable (1988) and Esther Martin Constable (1996) Greg, after graduation from PCA, pursued

Greg Constable (1988) and Esther Martin Constable (1996) Greg, after graduation from PCA, pursued missions by attending the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. He followed God’s calling to India where he focused on youth discipleship. Eventually, Greg founded a Christian school called King’s College where young men and women from poor backgrounds are educated and discipled. Greg now serves as VP Personnel, Global Outreach Mission, Inc. Greg continues to provide leadership to King’s College, India.

Greg Constable (1988) and Esther Martin Constable (1996) Esther, after graduation from PCA, attended University of Toronto and joined Greg in India. Since then, Greg & Esther have become parents to Hannah (14) and Nathan (10). Esther supports the family and ministry through many and significant ways as a stay at home mom.

She is currently the Vice Principal at Peoples Christian Academy Junior School. She says, “It's great to be back here again, as Peoples was the place where I accepted Christ as Saviour when I was in Grade 5. ”

Ruth (Guy) Sweet 1976 Ruth, “I was in grade 6 the year the school opened, and Mr. Carl Constable was my teacher. ” Years later Ruth’s two daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth, also attended. Sarah (Newcomb) was a teacher at the school for a few years as well. Married Rob Sweet who became an Anglican minister, and his career has taken the family across western Canada. “In every community, I have been thankful for the Christian foundation that I received at home and at The Peoples Christian School. ”

Stewart Shaw 1977 Leaving a secure career in Canada, Stewart moved his family to Calcutta, India in the late ‘ 90’s and began ministering to “throw away” children at Calcutta’s railway station. He has since, along with his wife, Monique and three children, been instrumental in building a children’s home in Calcutta. In addition, Monique has a special ministry to women and children in the brothel district. “On November 29 th, 2014, we celebrated 15 years of serving in the City of Joy! We are humbled and in awe of what God has done in and through us over the years. ”

Shauna Weir 2002 Shauna has been teaching at a highly respected Christian international school in Seoul, South Korea since 2009 with students from over 50 nations world-wide. Currently finishing a Masters in Educational Leadership degree. She will be transitioning over the next year and preparing to move to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in the summer of 2016. In Cambodia she will serve as Elementary Principal for Agape International Missions. Agape does ministry in a village that is the epi-center for child sex-trafficking in the nation.

John Rennicks 1981 John graduated from PBSA in 1981, University of Toronto in 1986 and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1990. Since then he has been a practicing chiropractor in downtown Toronto. “My loving wife of thirty-one years and I have been richly blessed by God with four fantastic children (a daughter and three sons) and by the end of this year, two grandchildren! We have been worshiping for the last 18 years at Grace Presbyterian Church in West Hill where I am an elder and currently sit on Session. ”

Lori-Anne Barre 1979 Lori-Ann graduated from Peoples Christian Academy in 1979. She has served

Lori-Anne Barre 1979 Lori-Ann graduated from Peoples Christian Academy in 1979. She has served with YWAM and, as a registered nurse, she has spent many years working among disadvantaged peoples in the Far East. She has literally put her life on the line to deliver humanitarian aid and medical relief to suffering peoples, primarily in Cambodia. She is married and is a mother of four.

Jean (Chamberlain) Froese 1984 Jean graduated from PCA in 1984. She went on to study medicine at Mc. Master University and has devoted her career as an obstetrician to the improvement of natal and pre-natal medicine in developing nations, particularly Uganda. Jean has founded the non-governmental agency, Save the Mothers, which is dedicated to the improvement of maternal health in the developing world.

Yvonne (Breg) Sybring 1980 graduated Yvonne attended The Paul B. Smith Academy for grades 7 - 13 and in 1980. She continued her education at York University where she earned her BA and BEd. She has taught all grades from 4 -8 in a Christian School and in the public system. Currently teaching in the public system She loves her job and also loves every memory she has of the students, staff and wonderful learning she received at PCA!

He then proceeded to attend Providence Theological Seminary in Manitoba where he received flight training toward his pilot license. In 2009, he started working with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) as a missionary pilot and spent two years flying medical evacuations in Botswana.

With LAMP, he has the privilege of flying pastors to the most remote First Nations communities in northern Canada.

Paul Sarkissian 1989 Paul, shortly after graduating from university, co-founded a marketing research company. Paul is currently teaching business courses at Sheridan College. He and his wife, Jacquie, are new residents of the Kitchener-Waterloo region and attend Waterloo Mennonite Brethren church.

Josh was actively involved with Power to Change on campus and in 2014 was awarded the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership award by the University of Toronto (U of T). The award was given to Josh in recognition of the tireless efforts in promoting a greater understanding of the Christian worldview on the university campus.

Arlene (Chung) Charters 1995 Arlene graduated from PCA in 1995. She received her Bachelor

Arlene (Chung) Charters 1995 Arlene graduated from PCA in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Music Education in Voice and Teaching Degree from the University of Toronto. She has been teaching for a number of years at Huron Heights Secondary School, a Regional Arts School. She has brought rejuvenation to the school’s music program which consistently places very highly in festivals and competitions, most recently, winning for the province at the Sears Drama Festival in 2014. Arlene married Joel Charters 17 years ago and they have two children; Madeline (11) and Jonathan (9).

Robert Chung 1990 After graduating from PCA, Robert attended York University where he doubled majored in Political Science and International Relations. He has since worked with the Bata Shoe Organization as a buyer and merchandiser, as a consultant to Mr. Thomas J. Bata and most recently, to provide input and assistance to the Bata Shoe Museum. He is also very involved in church ministry where he has served on the Board of Deacons, served on the Missions Committee, served as ‘Alpha’ director. He also enjoys singing with the Jubilance Singers and Orchestra which ministers in local churches and has travelled with them on missions trips overseas.

Kellen Jones 2000 Kellen graduated from PCA in 2000. He lives in Toronto with

Kellen Jones 2000 Kellen graduated from PCA in 2000. He lives in Toronto with his wife, Jennifer, and two young children. Kellen writes: “In 2000, my OAC classmates voted me most likely to come back to PCA as a teacher. They were close - I currently serve as Worship Pastor at The Peoples Church, and I love my job. ”
