Tryouts ▪ April 12, 2021 - April 14, 2021 at Patriot High School ▪ Players must: ▪ Complete the daily health screening by 2 pm each day that they will practice or play in games. ▪ Arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of practice and be prepared to start and end on time. ▪ Check in with the trainer upon arrival on the field. ▪ Wear mouth guard, no jewelry, bring stick, approved eyewear or helmet, water, a reversible pinnie, cleats and running shoes. ▪ Follow all current safety guidelines pertaining to COVID safety protocol

Each player will make something for a team mate. • Prepare music for practices during partner passing, warm-ups, stretching and shuttles. • Prepare music for game day (pre game) • Create a positive attitude on and off the field. • During games- on the side lines, cheer for your team mates • Always run on and off the field (Create a culture of constant movement on the field). After a goal, we jog back to our set up position. • Side line set up. - Our sidelines will reflect our team, organized and united. All bags face the same direction and are side by side on the sideline. (This will avoid a tripping hazard and allow us to enter and exit the field quickly and in an organized manner)

Players Packs and Spirit Wear The PHS Girls Lacrosse teams will be purchasing products from Hardhits. net • You will have the opportunity to order from the team store from April 14 -18 th. • Player pack includes 2 shooting shirts, 2 t-shirts, a pinnie, shorts ($100. 00) • Players can purchase their backpacks, and a jacket if they do not have one. • Players will find out their jersey number on April 14 th. (So you can personalize your pinnie and bag) • Parents and players will have the opportunity to purchase other spirit wear during this time frame (not required). Water bottle, sweatpants, jacket, long sleeve t-shirt, hat, hoodies etc.

COVID policies ▪ Physical contact such as high-fives, fist bumps, and hugs shall not be allowed. ▪ Team parties may not exceed the maximum number of passengers established within school health and VDH guidelines. ▪ All individuals are responsible for keeping individual equipment with them at all times. Community storage of equipment on the bus should be avoided. ▪ Passengers must occupy the same seats both going to and returning from an event trip. ▪ Seats should be sanitized upon arrival at the event and once the bus returns from an event and all passengers and equipment have been removed. ▪ At no point should passengers pass around orshare food or drink items

Covid cont. ▪ Pregame stick and equipment checks will be completed by one official per team. Each team member will stand with their sticks on their restraining line during pregame meeting. The player will be responsible for dropping the ball into their stick while official observes. Both players and officials should maintain six-foot distance between them. Recommend glove use by the officials for stick checks ▪ The use of draws will be suspended for the 2021 season to mitigate COVID spread. The first possession goes to visiting team at center, with each team alternating starts in place of draws. It is separate from AP alternate possession. First AP goes to visitors.

As Prince William County Public Schools prepare for the launch of the competition in Season Two, we are looking forward to welcoming limited spectators back to events, at no charge. 2. Our school division must abide by the Governor’s Executive Order 72 limiting: o Indoor spectators are limited to 25 persons. o Outdoor gatherings are restricted to 250 total spectators. 3. Senior families, who have either a contest participant or performer (student athletes, cheerleaders, dance teams, and pep bands), will be prioritized for spectator seat allocations at their home games. 4. Rotation of seat allotments may be used to provide every family an opportunity to attend as spectators at some point during the season. 5. To further assist families, we will continue to provide the NFHS Pixellot system to allow for remote viewing of events, (subscription fees apply). 6. PWCS High Schools have agreed to give all seat allocations to home teams at their venues. Visiting teams will not be allotted seats for away games
