Okay, “stompi” is a tool we can use to write Afrikaans sentences. S: V 1 T: O: M: V 2 P: I: This is the subject This is the time Stompi Subjek (subject) verb 1(werkwoord) Tyd (time) Objek (object) Manier (manner) verb 2(werkwoord ) Plek (place) Infinitief (infinitive) *this is not always needed in every sentence* Object Manner Place Ek gaan nou met die hond vinnig stap na die parkie toe. Wat gebruik ons in verlede tyd? We use the suffixes “het” and “ge” We use “Stompi” to show is where to put these suffixes. These are going to change. S v 1 T O M v 2 P I Take the verb and replace it with “het” and then put the verb at the end of the sentence with ”ge” added to it Replace with “het” Ek S stap met die hond. V 1 O Put verb at the back of the sentence with “ge” added to it.

So wat is die eindruseltaat? Ek stap met die hond. Ek het met die hond gestap. Wow! I never knew it was so easy! Okay let me try one now…
