Partnering with the Defense Acquisition University Equivalent Provider Application (EPA) Process Phase I - Details Provider acquires the equivalency forms on the DAU website, reviews , Equivalent Provider Application (EPA) Guide and Memorandum of Instruction Provider contacts the American Council on Education (ACE) for a fee quote to determine acceptance NO END Per EPA Guide, provider populates Blackboard with EPA and supporting documentation then sends an email notice to ACE and DAU ACE reviews standards outlined in DAU Directive 708 and provides a recommendation of approval/disapproval to the applicant and DAU YES Using EPA & MOU templates, provider prepares EPA and MOU per EPA Guide Provider signs MOU and forwards to DAU per EPA Guide DAU establishes a DAU Blackboard Account for Provider Payment coordinated per ACE instructions DAU reviews ACE recommendation DAU approves applicant NO END – DAU notifies provider of disapproval. Provider may resubmit after 12 months YES DAU signs MOU, notifies provider of approval Provider now eligible to submit for equivalency review
