Motivation: Establish a solid nation-wide collaboration that will participate in the research and development of the required technologies for Accelerators for Future Large Colliders (ILC, CLIC, Super B-factories, upgrade LHC) Accelerators (ILC, XFEL, CTF 3, CLIC, LHC) Beam Dynamics studies and experiments FLC Spain 2010 Beam Instrumentation design, construction, calibration and integration including the associated electronics Magnets design, construction and measurement, superconductivity RF structures design, construction and testing including the EM analysis 6
Beams Dynamics and Experiments Objectives Beam size simulations in the OTR 1 Beam size measurement in the OTR 1 X • Beam studies, realistic tracking simulations, control software developments and experiments for the multi-OTR system in the EXT line of the ATF 2 • Realistic tracking simulations and control software developments for FONT 4 (with micromovers) in ATF 2 • Simulation and beam measurements on beam halo, intensity reach, collimation efficiency and upgrades for the LHC FLC Spain 2010 7
