PARIS Paris which is the capital of France, is one of the most beautiful European cities and one of the most popular destination for tourists from all over the world.

The Eiffel Tower � The Eiffel Tower , which is 324 metres tall is breathtaking. It is the most wellknown milestone of Europe and without a doubt it is the most famous symbol of Paris. It was built in 1889 from the architect Gustav Eiffel for the celebration of the French Revolution of 1789.

The National Museum of France, which is located 35 minutes away from the centre of Paris got its final form in 1682 when the King Louis XIV installed the government there. It contains 2. 300 rooms spread over 63. 154 m 2. The Hall of Mirrors attracts a large number of tourists each year.

The Notre Dame Cathedral � The Notre Dame Cathedral is a huge , fantastic church of high architecture that everyone must visit. It is a unique experience and it is worth spending a couple of hours there. It is built on a picturesque small island on the river Seine.

The Louvre Museum � It is one of the biggest and most ancient museums of Art in the world. It is located in the centre of Paris. Famous statues as the Aphrodite of Milos and the Winged Victory of Samothrace belong there.

Favourite dishes � When you visit France you will be amazed at the delicious French cuisine. A meal to remember is the Leg of lamb which is cooked with a bit of garlic , salt and pepper. Beef Burgundy is one of the most classic french dishes and it is considered to be one of France’s favorite foods.
