President Keri Stroemer • • • moved to Zurich 5 years ago from Greenwich, Connecticut for her husband’s job at UBS. Originally from NYC and studied at Catholic University in Washington D. C. and New York University. Before having children, she was a Management Consultant for 10 years. Zurich is their second expat assignment. In 2003 -2005 they lived in London where their daughter Sydney was born. Currently, son Max is in 9 th grade and Sydney is in 7 th grade. served in the PA as VP Events for SY 2013 -2014 and SY 2014 -2015 as President.

VP Marketing & Communications Yvette Bannon • is married to Sean and they have three children, all at ZIS – Jaydin age 13, Kade age 10, and Keegan age 4. They moved to Switzerland in January 2014 from Pennsylvania and reside in Oberrieden. • has a B. S. in Accounting and Finance, an MBA in Finance, and is a certified Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt. She was at one time a ballerina and also served 6 years in the U. S. Army National Guard.

VP Events Maria Emmett • • is an Australian but moved from London to Switzerland in the summer of 2010. Their children attended the local Swiss school for two years, moving to ZIS in 2012. Their eldest daughter is currently in grade 8 at a boarding school in the UK and the youngest is in Grade 6 at the Middle School. married to a French/American and worked in both New York and London as an Interior Designer. She studied History of Art in Seville, Spain and at Sotheby’s in London. has been moving around the world since two years of age and speaks five languages – English, Spanish, German, French and Italian. PA VP Events since SY 2014 -2015.

VP Welcome & Community Brigitte Vercoutere • • has been enjoying living in Switzerland for the past 17 years with her French husband two beautiful children. Ivan, currently studying in Boston, Massachusetts, is a ZIS alumna (2012) & Elodie is in Grade 10. They joined ZIS in 1998 (formerly known as IPSZ). Their family resides in Rüschlikon. originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. Attended university at the SDSU in San Diego, Ca. Worked for an interior design firm in San Diego and Orange County. enjoys cooking, skiing, traveling and studying art. holds this position in the PA Executive Board since SY 2014 -2015.

VP Welcome & Community Lisa Maurus • their German/American family joined the ZIS Community 4 years ago. Their daughter graduated from ZIS in 2013 and is currently studying in the Netherlands. Their son is in the 11 th grade. • is a certified Special Education Teacher, currently tutoring and subbing at the Middle School. • hobbies include rowing and hiking. • serving the PA as VP Welcome since SY 2013 -14.

Treasurer Noelene Martin • • • is from South Africa. She & her family left SA about 17 years ago and lived in Tanzania, Chile, Dubai. The family arrived in Switzerland joined ZIS in 2012. She has 3 boys – eldest son is in university, middle son is a ZIS 2014 alumna and youngest son, Ethan, is currently in 11 th grade. graduated in RAU with BComm degree, major in Accountancy & Economics. She has always been an active volunteer in her sons’ schools as Room Mom, Treasurer for the Canadian Association in Chile and in charge of the school store in Dubai. ZIS PA Treasurer since SY 2014 -2015.

Assistant Treasurer Christine Baker • • • is now in her 15 th year of living in Zurich and has been part of the ZIS community throughout that time. She has a son, Luke, in 9 th grade and a daughter, Lana, in 11 th grade. Her eldest daughter, Rebecca, graduated from ZIS in 2013 and is now studying Theatre at the University of Leeds, England, where Christine is originally from. after graduating from Oxford with a degree in PPE, Christine spent her early career as an economist in energy consulting before making the switchover to investment banking. During her fifteen years in the City of London, she led the energy team at HSBC and was Head of Research and an Executive Director of Nomura Bank before setting up her own consultancy. in her spare time, she enjoys working on creative writing projects and is a member of the Zurich Writers’ Workshop.

Secretary Silvia Brennikmeijer - Arboli • together with her husband their four children – Mateo 9 th grade, Ana 7 th grade, Sofia 4 th grade and Elena in 1 st grade, joined ZIS in 2011. • has a Bachelor’s in International Economics from Georgetown University and has worked at Nabisco and Johnson & Johnson in Marketing. • enjoys sports, traveling and meeting people. • Secretary of the PA Executive Board since SY 2014 -2015.

ECC Campus Coordinator Lene Marlow • is from Denmark and married to Simon from England. They came to Switzerland in November 2012. They have 2 girls, Ella in grade 2 and Emily in Pre-K. The family lives in Samstagern. • holds a degree in social work and has worked with young mentally ill adults for 10 years. • likes to work out, ski and explore with the family.

ECC Campus Coordinator Katy Picton • moved to Switzerland with her family at the end of 2013 from Winchester (UK). They have four children at ZIS – the youngest, Arabella, is currently at the ECC in Kilchberg. • before moving to Switzerland, she worked for ten years as a lecturer and programme director at a university in Canterbury. • actively worked with the various PA teams at each of the previous schools her children have attended.

Lower School Campus Coordinator Ritu Monga • • born in Delhi in 1976; grew up in India and then teenage years in the USA. High school and university in the US. Double degree in Economics and German Literature. She lived in India, USA, England, Wales, Germany and now Switzerland. moved to Zurich in July 2013 from London where they lived for 10 years and where both sons were born. Two boys at ZIS, Ishaan in grade 2 and Arhaan in Kindergarten. Husband Nikhil works for ABB. worked in Management positions in various firms such as Microsoft and EBay. Had my own company in the UK selling high end nursery supplies. interests are photography, traveling, reading and flying.

Lower School Campus Coordinator Jamie Neusel • moved to Switzerland with her family in July 2014 from St. Louis, USA. She and her husband, Jason, live in Horgen and have 3 children - Avery in Grade 5, Molly in Grade 2, and George in K. • Before arriving in Switzerland, Jamie worked as an auditor for the Archdiocese of St. Louis and is a C. P. A.

Middle School Campus Coordinator Sonya Stack • • moved to Zürich in January 2014 from Connecticut and lives in Rüschlikon with her husband Peter and their four boys, who are all students at ZIS - Joey, grade 12; Patrick, grade 10; Mickey, grade 8 and Jamie, grade 4. They also have an energetic German shorthaired pointer, Lola. a licensed attorney in New York, Connecticut and California and was most recently a Board of Education member for a public school district in Connecticut. enjoys running and reading, and exploring countless new places within and near Zürich. enjoys working with PA members to support the school as one of the MS Campus Coordinators since SY 2014 -2015.

Middle School Campus Coordinator Kimberly Terryn • • moved from Chicago to Switzerland with her Belgian husband Kristof and their children in 2004 and joined ZIS when they arrived. She has four children at ZIS, Nicholas, grade 10; Jonathan, grade 8; twins Caroline and Sebastian, grade 7. graduated from Boston College with a BS in Marketing and Philosophy and has an MBA from Michigan Business School. After business school she worked in Brand Management at Kraft Foods. enjoys playing tennis, running, skiing and reading. serving the PA as one of the Middle School Campus Coordinators since SY 20142015.

Upper School Campus Coordinator Monita Singh • moved to Zurich about nine years ago with her family. Eldest son is a ZIS alumna (Class 2015), daughter in Grade 11 and youngest son in Grade 9. • they are from USA/India and have lived in many countries prior to moving here. Switzerland is now home to the Singhs. • ages ago, she worked in the financial sector and has a Masters in Banking and Finance from the USA. • is very involved in the school and also other events that happen in Zurich. • is one of the Upper School Campus Coordinators since SY 2014 -2015.

Upper School Campus Coordinator Nancy Yocum • moved to Zurich in August 2014 from Geneva. Has three children - 2 at ZIS (Matt, 12 th grade and Megan, 8 th grade) and a daughter Sara, a freshman in college in the USA. • went to the University of Illinois for college and graduated with a degree in advertising. Worked in advertising until moving abroad. Most recently worked at the International School of Geneva as a Merchandising Manager and helped to establish the school spirit store there. • likes to travel, read and exercise.
