Where does Parenting Co-ordination sit? l The funding is from Children and Families Inclusion l The Steer is multi-agency: – The Parenting Strategy Group – The Framework Partnership (Participation and Enjoyment SCo. G) l The co-ordination is from the local authority (CYP service, Prevention and Inclusion Department) l The delivery is by a wide range of organisations and agencies
The Parenting Agenda covers – All tiers of need (see handout) – Information for parents, individual support and advice, courses, drop-ins and parent groups – pre-course preparation (like work on basic skills, self esteem, confidence, domestic violence) It links into the work of many organisations
