At the end of each day, the teacher will review their dojo points and record the color they received based on how many points they have for the day. 6 or more points= pink 4 -5 points= purple 2 -3 more points= blue 0 -1 point = green -1 point= yellow -2 points= orange -3 points= red Teachers will record any notes of concern or kudos in the comment section of the student agenda. Birthdays and Parties • • If your child is having a birthday party – invitations may be brought to school only if they are given out to the entire class. – On your child’s birthday, we strongly encourage you to send non -food items. If you send food items they must be store bought with the nutritional label attached and individual portions. Items that are temperature sensitive are not allowed (ex: ice cream). – The teacher must know in advance if you are bringing in a birthday treat for the class. – If you choose to bring something for a birthday to school, these items will be served at the end of the day. We will have two parties this school year. – Winter Celebration – End of Year Celebration

Transportation and Bus Tags • If there is a change in the way that your child gets home from school, you must send a note to the teacher on the morning of the change. • If it’s a permanent change, you must complete a new transportation form which you can receive from the office. • If the teacher does not receive the note , the child will go home the way you instructed on the information card. • Any changes in dismissal will not be accepted after 2: 00 pm. Students are required to have their district issued bus tag every time they ride the bus from school. • The bus tags need to remain attached to your child’s backpack at all times!
