• An Alumnae Panhellenic (APH) Association is a community-based organization, affiliated with National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). • Membership in an APH is open to any alumna woman of the 26 national sorority/women’s fraternities that belong to the NPC. Even if Tri Sigma is not represented on a particular campus, participation in the APH helps to promote Tri Sigma as an organization. If a Tri Sigma alumnae chapter is not established in the area of the APH, individual membership is welcomed (you do not need to be a member of an alumnae chapter in order to participate in an APH). • There are over 200 alumnae panhellenics (APH) across the United States and Canada. You can find an APH in your area at npcwomen. org.

Alumnae panhellenics are philanthropic social organizations…. • Some organizations raise funds for scholarships for graduating high school seniors while others provide scholarships to collegiate women who are members of NPC member groups. • Participation in community service projects and opportunities is another tenet of alumnae panhellenics. They actively participate in community events of interest to the group including fundraising events, collection drives, and volunteering at events. • Act as a clearinghouse for up-to-date NPC information on changes in the Greek world (recruitment styles, methods of membership selection, growth of Greek Life, etc. ). • Assist college panhellenics with recruitment efforts.

• Participation in an APH provides an opportunity for all of us to develop and build on our leadership skills that were learned during our college years. Leadership opportunities abound from serving as a board member, to chairing a committee, and participating as a committee member. • In our very mobile society, membership in an Alumnae Panhellenic can be your connection to the next place you live. It is a networking organization where you can tap into job opportunities, social events, and friendship in a new area. • Membership in an Alumnae Panhellenic can help you maintain your connection to Greek Life. It can help women grow, give, lead and succeed.
