COLLABORATION Task Create e. Books about different topics of globalisation by using laptops, tablets and smartphones The (learning) story: organize groups – choose topic (mobile phone, chocolate, jeans or oil) – find information and “map” it – get teachers remarks on the content and structure – write texts for the e. Book – design the e. Book and add questions – present the e. Book before the class – assess others e. Books 5

ASSESSMENT BASICALLY - Who assesses what? (teacher, students of the group, students of the class) - Teacher is ultimately responsible for the grade - Difficult: assessment for group work – in case you have a lot of groups or some work has to be done outside school - Where is the focus: on the outcome or the working process - hundreds of concepts online 10

COLLABORATION AND MOBILE DEVICES REMARKS • Mobile devices are very helpful in the collaboration process and work • Students can get more information from different sources • They give students more possibilities to present their work – and to rise creativity • Teaching and learning can make more fun • For Collaboration projects in the classroom you normally need a lot of time 16
