What is a Pandemic A pandemic is a widespread infectious disease that spreads quickly

What is a Pandemic A pandemic is a widespread infectious disease that spreads quickly and widely among humans (or animal populations). Pandemics often relate to a virus such as the COVID-19 – this is a new strain of a Corona (Flu) Virus. Because COVID 19 is a new Corona Virus strain, most of the human population is highly susceptible to infection. There is no current vaccine for the COVID-19 virus. 28/07/2020 CATALYST TRAINING & DISABILITY SERVICES PANDEMIC BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN V 12 2

Program Continuity Plan This Plan sets out how we are managing during the pandemic

Program Continuity Plan This Plan sets out how we are managing during the pandemic and the resurgence of infections in July 2020. It also talks about the risks, how we are managing these, and where we have suspended activities. The Plan outlines a return to normal business, when it is safe to do so, including the risks, mitigations and steps we will be taking to keep everyone as safe as possible. As set out in our Work Health and Safety Policy and Procedure, the first priority is always to keep everyone as safe as possible – Proteges , Advocates, Committee Members and staff. . We also want to minimise losses so that we can keep operating once the Pandemic threat has passed (or when a vaccine is available). We are continuing to follow the directions and advice from official government sources. 28/07/2020 CATALYST TRAINING & DISABILITY SERVICES PANDEMIC BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN V 12 6
