Disaster Management Program • Disseminate, advocacy, and implement the PMI DM Policy through letters, annual meeting, trainings • Community based Disaster Risk Reduction Program in 35 PMI Branches • Mobilize equipment, human reource, budget, and logistic to support PMI Branches • Early recovery program: psychosocial support, Restoring Family Link (RFL), Water and Sanitation, Health services • Cooperation and networking for disaster risk reduction with government, local, national, and international partners • Trainings relating DM: assessment, logistic management, disaster response, mapping

Disaster Preparedness Actions • 24 hours post command officer • Distribution disaster preparedness letter to all PMI Branches • Equipment capacity building: • Operational cars : 4 unit (Ranger, avanza, Innova) • Truck for watsan : 6 unit • Box truck : 1 unit • Truck for logistic : 1 unit • Ambulance : 2 unit • Ready stock relief logistic at PMI warehouse • Volunteers deployment for local, national, and international disasters

Disaster Response Program – PMI Central Java Province: Earthquake and Tsunami Flood Drought Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) of Mount Merapi Landslide IDPs of Mount Slamet IDPs of poison gas of Mount Dieng. Post Command Program supported by German Red Cross

Disaster Response Actions • Monitoring and coaching PMI Branches • Relief distribution: served food, hygiene kit, kitchen kit, etc • Deploy 6 units truck for Watsan in Pati, Kudus, Demak, and 10 unist tool sump in Pati • Receive, maintenance, and distribution logistics from PMI NHQ , community, private sectors • Deploy 2 units helicopter for relief distribution in flooding areas • 24 hours command post • End of February 2015 PMI Central Java received 1 billion rupiah from community, private sector, government for disaster response

Evacuation and transportation • Cooperation with other agencies • 4 inflatable boats for Pati 9. Command post • Collecting and distributing disaster report and data

Recovery Actions: 1. Water distribution and pipeline building after Mount Merapi eruption in 2010 in Klaten, Magelang dan Boyolali 2. Bamboo house building after earthquake in 2006 in Klaten 3. School building recovery after earthquake in 2006 in Klaten 4. School building recovery after flooding in 2007 in Pati 5. Computer set distribution for school in Surakarta
