Celebrations Eid, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, fast, approval of the month of Ramadan, and Ibrahim (Abraham's willingness for God to sacrifice his son Ishmael ) is remembered. Eid celebrations are an national holiday in Pakistan. The government and business offices are closed for 3 days. Night before Eid, people search for the moon of Ramadan and Ramadan ends on arrival of the sighting of the new moon. Eid day begins with morning prayers, then a big breakfast with family. The day is spent with relatives and friends sharing gifts and sweets. During the evening people go to the town for some partying, going to restaurants or relax in the city's parks. Eid al-Fitr, Money is given to charity and gifts to young children. . Eid al-Adha, The meat is distributed to relatives and neighbours and food is also donated to charities.
