Horticulture Suggestions and Recommendations Problems being faced and suggestions Under MIDH ► Promotion of ‘Nutritional Garden Scheme’ in various government premises like hospitals, hostels, schools etc. ►Project costing upto INR 25 Lakh should be optional to credit linked back- ended subsidy ►Rhizomatic Spices like ginger and turmeric should be increased from INR 30000/ Hac to INR 1, 80, 000/ Hac as planting material cost is too high 01 ►Current tractor specification: Upto 20 BHP should be increased to Upto 45 BHP in same assistance pattern ►New components like a) Community Chain- link Fencing b) Community Tube well with Submersible Pump (Solar Tech. ) c) Small Solar Cold Storage d) Seedling production unit ►For stacking of dragon fruit 50% of costs to be added ►VTP courses for Gardeners, Landscaping, Vermi- Compost, Organic Farming, Vegetable and fruit Cultivation etc. is already registered in Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
