Page 1 Chattering and playing, the dolphins chased each other under the sparkling layer

Page 1 Chattering and playing, the dolphins chased each other under the sparkling layer of crystal blue shards that surrounded my yacht. After being out at sea for at least four weeks now, I eventually saw a glimpse of the luscious green island ahead. A strange double headed toucan flew out of the forest, tearing at a three eyed tree-frog… Weird! As I landed my battered yacht I looked at the bright golden sand. It was incredible! I thought of the reason that I was here, a cause that had happened nearly two months ago. “It is your destiny son!” my father had breathed onto his death bed. “I am the infamous captain Zanzibar, and you must recover our lost family heirloom; my diamond tiger treasure!” As he slipped me the treasure map, I now clutched, he died as a pirate in hiding. As I stepped out of my yacht, a ripe hairy coconut fell from a leaning palm tree. When I bent down to pick it up, it opened slit pupiled eyes, a small sharp toothed mouth and then rolled away. Even weirder!! As I entered the lush knotted undergrowth, the wall of humid heat hit me. I saw an anaconda trying to strangle a log, hmmm? In one direction I could see a strange building and in the other a mangrove swamp. Which way should I go? The strange building The mangrove swamp

Page 2 As I approached the strange building, I saw lots of trees and vines which looked like booby traps. I carefully and cautiously crept up to the building. I felt a cold and shivering feeling creep up my spine and I reached the giant prison like door. Suddenly, a growling tiger appeared out of nowhere, and jumped straight at me. I looked everywhere but could not see any escape route. Would this be the end of me? As quick as a flash, an idea hit me. I scrambled up some vines that were crawling up the side of the building. The tiger can’t reach me; I am safe. The tiger stays looming on the ground below, waiting for me to go back down again and gobble me up. I looked around for somewhere to go. At the top of the building I could see a bridge leading into the distance; the other option would be that I wait for the tiger to go and climb back down. What would it be? Wait for tiger to go Go along the bridge

Page 3 I trekked and stumbled back to the yacht and dragged my canoe, paddles and helmet back to the stagnant river. As I paddled down the river I marvelled at it all, moving venus fly traps, four headed snakes, two headed birds (parrots, cockatoos and toucans. ) six legged jaguars, two headed tigers, eleven legged boar and three headed crocodiles, my heart skipped a beat, three headed crocodiles! One was come straight for me! I paddled and paddled but then I realized something, the reptile had a mouth of molars! It hauled itself onto the bank and the three heads started fighting over a fruit-filled bush, this is a strange back to front upside-down wacko island !!!!!!! Go back into the jungle Continue on the river

Page 4 I chose to wait for the tiger to go and then climbed down. After about 15 minutes the tiger gave up and slunk away, back into the bushes. I climbed down and looked for somewhere to go. After a few seconds the tiger pounced at me again and this time knocked me to the ground. There was nothing left to do, I was completely trapped! Start

Page 5 I decided to cross the bridge at the top of the strange building, on the other side I found a cave with a torch at the very back of the cave. I saw a movement but thought nothing of it, as I had seen something that looked like a diamond, I looked down and saw a diamond…BACK RATTLE SNAKE! As you run you feel its deadly toxin causing through your vains, the entrance was nowhere to be seen; a rock slide had filled it all in. When everything went pitch black and I collapsed onto the dust filled floor, I knew this was the end of my journey. Start

Page 6 I dumped my canoe onto the river bank (like anyone's going to take it!) I trekked through the thick emerald foliage, swatting huge insects and hacking vines with my machete, then I saw it a soft blue glow emitting from a low overgrown cave, I crept further to investigate the odd light. Glow worms! A carpet on the roof of luminous grubs, I crept further into the cave; it was like one big rock corridor. I gasped in disbelief, my fathers treasure! It had a delicate, hand carved crystal tiger on a silver and bamboo chest, over flowing with rubies, jewels, gold and pearls! I had found captain Zanzibar's treasure; recovered my family heirloom, I was rich! I had beaten the island found the treasure!!! Start By Connor and Stanley.

Page 7 I continued along the river even though I had stopped paddling, I was in a strong current, I looked ahead. The current turned into rapids ! White water. Sharp black rocks! I paddled and paddled! The canoe can’t take much more ! all off a sudden I was spat out of the ravenous rapids and onto calm water I was safe! But then something chilled my heart. the highest waterfall I have seen in my life (well really it was the only waterfall I have ever seen but that’s not important…)I plunged down the diagonal froth and onto rocks like dragon teeeeeettttthhhhhh !!!!!!!!!
