Separable Prefix Verbs • Some verbs in PD can be combined with prefixes which in turn change their meaning: • kumme – to come • aakumme – to arrive • In present tense usage, the prefix will separate from the verb and move to the end of the sentence or question: • Subject – Verb – other stuff – Prefix. • Verb – Subject – other stuff- Prefix?

Separable Prefix Verbs • As covered in Video 20, when a Modal is used in a sentence, the verb is forced to the end of the sentence. • This rule applies with Sep. Prefix Verbs.
