Mission Statement 2015 -2016 The mission of P. H. Greene Elementary, the cultivators of individuality, is to inspire each student to discover his or her unique talents and abilities to positively impact his or her global community through a nurturing environment distinguished by intentional academic, artistic, and social learning experiences that encourage creativity, confidence, and the courage to take risks.
Curriculum and Special Programs P. H. Greene Elementary provides Prekindergarten services for both 3 and 4 year olds, as well as children with disabilities (PPCD). English Language Learners are provided resources and support in both the general education and small group settings Special Education services include Alternative Academics classes (3), Resource/Inclusion support (2), Speech Therapy (2), Physical Therapy, Adaptive P. E. , Occupational Therapy (2), and Music therapy. Gifted and Talented services are provided in small group pull out sessions (all grade levels) and off -campus cohorts (4 th and 5 th grades). Teachers are Balanced Literacy trained and SIOP trained. Instructional Coaches in all core academic areas including: Reading, Science, and Math Drama class that all students attend once a week.
