In the next section, the drama students show some examples of comedy, including episodes of Modern Family and two Jim Carrey films. Afterwards, the drama students demonstrate and teach the children the arts of mime, joketelling and improvisation. The fourth section of the comedy programme involves the children performing comedic skits and telling jokes to their parents. I cannot describe how wonderful it is to see these children laughing; it is like the sun appearing from behind a cloud. Dr Jamie Long, a noted child psychiatrist, highly recommends laughter as therapy for sick children and adults.
