OWL AND HUMAN INTERACTIONS Interactions with humans can be a bad thing but it can also be a good thing. But we can see different interactions either good or bad.
WHO IMPACTS OWLS AND HOW? Many people impact owls sometimes not intentionally. A regular person my harm owls by diving at night when owls at night and prey crosses the road the owl might get hit by a car while the owl is eating its prey. One of their most serious problems are intentionally poising and hunting owls. Thankfully these practices has decreased due to education and legislation. Hunters sometimes hunt owls for their feathers or for sport. Some people trap owls to keep as pets. A newer problem for owls are power lines sometimes they use them for hunting and get electrocuted. Even you can harm owls. But people are trying to reverse that with helping owls and teaching people about them.
DO PEOPLE IMPACT OWLS ON PURPOSE? Most people don’t intentionally impact owls on purpose but people will do it on accident when ever you litter on the ground an owl may eat it. There are the occasional hunter who like I said before may hunt and kill owls for their feathers or sport.
DOSE THESE INTERACTIONS HELP OR HARM OWLS AND HUMANS? Owls are mostly are harmed by human interactions rather than humans due to pollution and hunting. Some positive interactions are when people are trying to help them by doing reasreach.
SOME WAYS TO MAKE INTERACTIONS BETTER? Some ways to help owls is by teaching the young about them and also by reducing interactions because they are usually negative. So hopefully you can learn and protect Owls!
