Country Programming framework v The CPF defines the priority areas of focus for the FAO Representation in Namibia for the period 2019 to 2023. v Four priorities are outlined in the CPF and are informed by the Government's fifth NDP 5 2017/18 -2021/22. v It is the FAO’s contribution to the United Nations Partnership Framework (UNPAF) 2019 – 2023. v The CPF was prepared following consultations and agreements with key stakeholders including MAWF, NPC, MET, MFMR, MLR, MURD, Mo. F, MPSEW, OPM, NSA. v Implementation period: 2019 – 2023 v Total budget USD 11 028 500 (N$ 159 141 255) Friday, April 26, 2019

FAO’s Contribution and Expected Results Priority 1. v Strengthened capacity of national institutions to formulate inclusive policies, regulations, legal frameworks and sector-sensitive strategic documents on land governance, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, food security and nutrition. v Namibia’s capacity strengthened to implement national and international commitments including trade regulations. v Capacity strengthened for evidence-based and gender disaggregated information generation and robust M&E systems for agriculture, food security and nutrition.
