Cocktails for a Cause Overview Who, When & Where LBF Support & Resources
The purpose of Cocktails for a Cause is: • To expand deepen the LBF network of supporters in new and emerging markets • To fund the #11 for 11 campaign Overview • Any new or existing LBF supporter can host a cocktail party, hosts simply need to be educated about the foundation. • Within the invitation and at the party there will be an opportunity to learn about LBF and to become an #11 for 11 supporter.
Who? • Any new or existing LBF supporter can host a cocktail party, hosts simply need to be educated about the foundation. Who, When & Where? • Guests may include existing or prospective LBF supporters, LBF board members, brain cancer survivors, etc. When? • Anytime • Consider re-purposing already planned events (i. e. your annual 4 th of July or Christmas party, jewelry shows, etc. ) Where? • Anywhere
Paperless Post branded invite available to hosts #11 for 11 cocktail napkins for the party Other signage or take away #11 for 11 T-shirts available for those who sign up onsite • Request to add guests to LBF database • Additional party resources available in Appendix • • LBF Support* & Resources * LBF may offer to subsidize the cost of the party. This depends on a variety of factors including the forecasted support levels and host need.

Timeline 4 – 5 Weeks 1 – 2 Weeks THE ESSENTIALS • Manage RSVP’s • Create party budget 2 Days • Make guest list • Confirm entertainment, caterers, staff, cake, flowers etc • Select Music PREPARE FOR THE PARTY • Send invitations • Decide menu & drinks • Book caterer (Optional) • Book party wait staff (Optional) • Book entertainment (Optional) • Take inventory of owned party supplies (decorations, utensils, dishes etc) • List other supplies needed 2 -3 Weeks • Order rental equipment (Optional) • Decide/Order flowers • Shop for decorations • Shop for non-perishable goods Day Before • Prep Food • Decorate Party Day • Pick up ordered food, ice • Finish remaining decorations • Prepare perishable foods • Set tables & chairs • Organize bar and prep drinks • Have camera ready • Set the mood, light candles start music etc.
