Hatred is associated with sexual immorality, murders, drunkenness, etc.

Hate leads to sins of the tongue Ps. 109: 3 They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without cause. . Prov. 26: 24, 28 24 He who hates disguises it with his lips, But he lays up deceit in his heart. 28 A lying tongue hates those it crushes, And a flattering mouth works ruin. Lying, gossiping, whispering, slander, faultfinding, false witnessing & cutting remarks come from a heart of hate. Matt. 12: 36, 37 “But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. ”
Hate leads to bitterness, resentment & retaliation God forbids them. Rom. 12: 14, 17 -21; Matt. 5: 38 -48; Lk. 6: 27 -36 1 Cor. 4: 12 and we toil, working with our own hands; when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure; 1 Pet. 3: 9 not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.

Consequences of hate
Hate will rob you of happiness As long as you hate you will be miserable. Hate & hell dwell in the same heart. If I was going to knock on the door of the most miserable man in town, I would know exactly where to go - to the door of the bitter, resentful, unforgiving hater.
Hate will make you a slave “Hate somebody, and you become his slave!” He controls your thoughts, invades your dreams, absorbs your creativity & determines your appetite! Affects your digestion, robs you of your peace of mind & good will & takes away the pleasure of your work. He ruins your religion and he hounds you wherever you go. You cannot get away from the man you hate! He affects your attitude on the job - distracts your mind from efficiency - influences the tone of your voice to your boss, wife or child - requires you to take medicine for indigestion, headaches & loss of energy. “If you want to be a slave to somebody find some person to hate!"
Hate will harm you physically Men must pay for hate - jealousy, envy, self-centeredness, ambition, frustration, rage, resentment & hatred are disease-producing emotions. What a person eats is not as important as the bitter spirit, the hates & the feelings of guilt that eat at him. A dose of baking soda in the stomach will never reach these acids that destroy body, mind & soul.
Hate will harm you physically The Bible treats the disease-producing factors of envy, self -centeredness, resentment, hatred & immorality Those who belong to Christ have crucified their old nature with all it loved & lusted for. 1 Cor. 6: 19, 20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
Hate results in spiritual suicide A gun that breaks at the breach & kills the hater. The honey bee drives its barb into the flesh & leaves the stinger behind causing it own death. Bitterness & rancor, restlessness & misery go together! Hate will keep you out of heaven Gal. 5: 19 -21 “shall not inherit the kingdom of God. " “no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. ” 1 Jn. 3: 15
Love is the cure for hate
no middle ground between love & hate It is either hate or love. 1 Jn. 2: 9 -11; 3: 14, 15; Lk. 9: 50 Love is the only protective, preventive, or cure for hate To overcome hate we must instill, implant & nurture love
The importance & necessity of love Brotherly love: - is the badge of discipleship, Jn. 13: 35 - is a command, Jn. 15: 12; 13: 34; 1 Jn. 4: 21; 5: 2, 3; 3: 23, 24; Rev. 22: 14 - to be maintained above all things, 1 Pet. 4: 8 - is the 2 nd greatest commandment, Matt. 22: 37 -40 - is the fulfilling of the law, Rom. 13: 8
The importance & necessity of love Brotherly love: - will prevent stumbling, 1 Jn. 2: 10 - is necessary to be in the light, 1 Jn. 2: 9 -11 - is a mark of divine sonship, 1 Jn. 3: 10 - is a mark of true conversion, 1 Jn. 3: 14 - is a mark of spiritual life, 1 Jn. 3: 14
The importance & necessity of love - Without brotherly love you are a murderer, 1 Jn. 3: 15 - Love your brother to be of, born of & know God, 1 Jn. 4: 7, 8 - Love your brother because God first loved you, 1 Jn. 4: 11 - Must love your brother for God to dwell in you & for God's love to be perfected in you, 1 Jn. 4: 12 - Love not your brother, love not God, 1 Jn. 4: 20; 5: 1, 2
the nature of the love we are to have for our brethren - Love our brethren as the Lord loved us, Jn. 13: 34; 15: 12. - Love our brethren as ourselves, Matt. 22: 39. - Love our brethren fervently, 1 Pet. 1 : 22, 23; 4: 8. - Love our brethren genuinely & sincerely, 1 Pet. 1 : 22, 23. - Love our brethren with a pure heart, 1 Pet. 1 : 22, 23
