The Christian Response to the Outcast Jesus throughout His teachings emphasized the importance of helping and considering those who were less fortunate. In addition, the many healings that Jesus performed show us that He was concerned with the condition of the poor and those who were rejected by society. Organizations in The Bahamas such as the “All Saints Camp of St. John the Divine”, the Salvation Army, Great Commission Ministry, Life Line Ministries, Churches and other Christian Ministries along with civic organizations help to assist the poor and the rejects of society by feeding, clothing, sheltering, and ministering to their spiritual needs through counseling and leading them to salvation.
