Mary relied completely on Joseph her husband, who, as head of the family, took care of everything. Both of them in spite of all their anxiety and uncertainty of what tomorrow might bring, relied completely on God.

Like Mary Let’s sing a song for Mary, the one God chose to have baby Jesus and help him grow. Through struggles and adventures, as years went by her child became an adult and left her side. When soldiers captured Jesus to end his life, then Mary showed her courage; she stayed close by. She loved him in the stable at Bethlehem; she loved him as he suffered and rose again. Oh’ my we be brave and walk in God’s way like Mary. It wasn’t always easy, not wasn’t always fun, but Mary always treasures her special Son. As crowds began to follow, both day and night, with miracles and stories he touched their lives. God could have found a princess with golden crown. God chose a humble girl from a country town. So come, let’s all be ready to take our turn, for Jesus calls the humble to change the world. Oh’ my we be brave and walk in God’s way like Mary.
