Our Family Plan In order to “become the family” we want, we will all follow this family plan. The rule for not leaving home without permission is a part of this plan: Rule: Alexis will be breaking the rule for Not Leaving the House without Permission if she does any of the following: (Healthy Undercurrent: Consistency) § Leaving the house without asking and receiving permission from mom § Leaves school and goes somewhere else instead of going to all her classes § Leaves the yard when she is angry § Not Checking in with Mom or mom face-to-face at 4 pm each school day (Tito may stand in for mom with pre-approval) § Not coming home at time set by mom REWARDS: (Healthy Undercurrent: Consistency, Nurturance, Praise as the Antidote to Caustic Communication) (Reward is given at 9 pm, Sunday through Thursday and 10 pm Friday and Saturday) Reward will given with Praise – “We are proud of you” Daily Reward: Alexis gets the privilege of using her cell phone for the next 24 hours Bonus Rewards: (Tracked on the Bonus Calendar) 3 straight days = daily reward + makeup gift card for $10 10 straight days = daily reward + $15 ITunes Gift Card 15 straight days = daily reward + 6 dance classes CONSEQUENCES: (Healthy Undercurrent: Consistency) 1 st Offense = No Daily Reward ***If Alexis refuses to give up her phone, it will be disconnected for 7 days and Alexis will have to pay the reactivation fee 2 nd Offense = No Daily Reward + Level 1 Grounding ( Alexis must stay in the house and no friends can be over for the rest of that day + two more days) 3 rd Offense = No Daily Reward + Level 2 Grounding (grounding to house for rest of that day + next 3 days + upcoming weekend (Friday & Saturday). Grounding means you may not leave the house and no friends can come over. ***Bonus Rewards will only be given on days when Alexis is in good standing with no offenses ***Hierarchy of Offenses start over each Monday To Help Become the Family we want to be, we, as your family will commit to doing the following: (Healthy Undercurrents: Consistency, Nurturance and Antidote to Caustic Communication) Mom’s Roles: • Use the Button Busters of Exit and Wait, Calm Voice, & Short and To the Point Language to avoid all arguments • I will give you a PTR for the next 30 days without exception as my way of showing my love for you Villager’s Role: • Edgar will call and talk to Alexis each day to encourage her to follow this rule • Tito will take Alexis out to breakfast each Saturday morning • If Alexis has earned a 2 nd offense, Mom will call Grandma to come over to stand beside mom when she gives the consequence as a sign of support and solidarity (Also, Tito will stay at home with Alexis if mom has to go somewhere) • Ashley’s parents will call mom to make sure Alexis has permission to be there anytime Alexis comes over. If Alexis does not have permission, Ashley’s dad will escort Alexis home. Protective Factors: • Alexis will meet with her mentor each Wednesday for tutoring assistance • Alexis will volunteer 5 hours a week at the local dance studio to clean floors and equipment
