I’m A First Time Parent Of A High School Student. What Should I Be Telling My Student To Do In School? ● ● ● ● Freshmen Grades DO count. Be social with your peers. Get Involved: Music, Drama, Clubs, Sports, Student Activities. Establish a balance between school work & fun. Use your Student Handbook for assignments and to manage your time. Talk to your teachers & ask for help. Do not wait until the end of the semester to find out your grade in each class.
