Scheduling & sequencing To schedule jobs and that they run in the order you want you need to: § Define the Uprocs and their pre-requisites (conditions) ü This will ensure that they run in the right order ü But this will not schedule them! § Define the Tasks (and Rules) on the Uprocs (or Sessions naturally) ü This will ensure that they are scheduled as desired ü But this will not imply they will execute as they will only kick off if their pre-requisites are satisfied! © Copyright ORSYP - 2008 4
