Objective § Used to define the schedule of a Task § Can be considered as algorithms § Define a frequency, but will require a starting date which is the Application date (usually the 1 st day of the scheduling period) § A Scheduled or Optional Task can include from 0 to 7 Rules § A Task with 2 Rules FRIDAY (every Friday) and LDMON (Last Day of the Month) will be scheduled on Fridays and on the last day of the month. If the last day of the month is a Friday, it will only be scheduled once § The Rules are copied into the Tasks. If the Rule is updated, it must be reassigned to the Tasks where it is used § Each Rule has its own Application date © Copyright ORSYP - 2009 1
