National Certification - ACT NCRC National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) Platinum with scores of 6 or 7 • We have added a third ACT Work. Keys test entitled: Graphic Literacy • Addition of this test makes the individual eligible to earn a NCRC Gold with scores of 5 Silver with scores of 4 • The NCRC is a nationally recognized, portable credential that demonstrates achievement and a certain level of workplace employability skills • Work. Actual CNC Job Descriptions Skills desired: - Experience CNC Mill and Lathe machining centers - Manufacturing/Aerospace/Research and development (R&D) experience - Set-up and operate machinery - Knowledge of m-codes and g-codes - Editing programs - Work with various materials (i. e. metals, plastics, etc. ) - Precision tools - micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc. - Tooling changes - Inspection

Focused Job Fair v Participating companies are invited from the: v College’s Economic Development Division client list v Work. Source client list v Local and regional manufacturing organizations v Format is 15 minute speed interviews with five minute breaks v All graduating Fast Track trainees meet with all participating companies in a private setting v Companies follow-up with candidate invitations for their standard interview process the following week

Placement Information • The program placement rate averages over 80% • 95+% of employees hired in the program continue as CNC machinists, many still with their original hiring company • Wage Data for those hired: • Expectation set by the program is $14. 00 to $16. 00 per hour plus OT and benefits
