Why do we need an Organic Optimization? Organic Optimization cases should be created when you experience the following: • Account is underperforming (Rankings, Leads, etc) post day 90. NOTE: In extreme circumstances you can submit an SEO Opt at day 60. • Citation Network issues/updates (If client was sold with Yext) • Maps Listing issues/updates • Rate-A-Biz Teardown • Yext Manual Teardown • Google Ownership Transfer Request *Manager Approval Needed What information does our Ops Team need? SEO opt template: • Days Live: (Found in Salesforce and Yodle Live) • FPKW: (# front page keywords) *Found in Dashboard • # of Leads from Organic: *Found in Dashboard • Whitelisted? (Y/N): *Found in MIC • Google Listing Status: (Active, Co. Mg, Pending, etc) *Found in MIC • Client Concern: (reason for opt- performance complaints, rankings, citation issues etc)
Let’s start with our Master Case! Now that your Master Case is created, you’ll hover the Organic Cases link at the top and select “New Organic Case”
By default the Record Type will show PIN Action Needed, you’ll need to select Organic Optimization Fill in the blanks! – It is important that you fill in all necessary fields. Remember your cases now auto attach. There is no need to copy and paste the Case Number from your Master case! *Within the Organic Opt Case you will note that under “Submission Reason” there are many choices. In Most instances your choice will always be “Poor Performance – Ranking Issues” Once you have selected your Submission Reason you will then add your SEO Template to the Reason Notes and then SAVE! After you have selected your Submission reason you will add your completed SEO Opt template. Remember you can find this in the One. Note! Click SAVE and YOU’RE DONE!!!
SEO Opt Template Notes! Your template and notes to should be clear and provide as much information a possible. The template is built to provide as much detail as possible. EXAMPLE: SEO opt template: • Days Live: 66 • FPKW: 3 • # of Leads from Organic: 0 • Whitelisted? (Y/N): Y • Google Listing Status: Active • Client Concern: Client feels that they have reached the ramp up period and should be seeing keywords in their dashboard. They have completed manual searches and have been unable to locate themselves for their main services. Client would like to see "austin videographers" there have also been very few site visits at this stage. I recommended that the client provideos to add to the site to showcase experience as well as an FAQ to help build relevancy through unique content. Presentation Title in Footer
Casework Follow Up ACW Follow up should be treated in the same regard as an open email in your name. Returned ACW must be followed up on or closed out by 5 PM or EOD. Master Case appears in your name with that status of “All Work Completed- Contact Client” or “Work Completed” Navigate to the Organic Optimization Case attached to the Master Case *You will also receive an email with the subject line “Organic Case Assigned to you” with a direct case link. Review notes and implement any recommendations provided by the Marketing Performance Analyst. *This may be information that requires client follow up. Remember that you can email the client the results and suggestions but you must never copy and paste these notes. Once follow up is either completed or deemed unnecessary, change the Master Case status from “All Work Completed” to “Closed”
