ADMINISTRATION 2020 -21 Science Field Test Items • The 2020 -21 Oregon Science Assessment will also contain field test items. • Field test items: • are included in the estimated time for the assessment (estimated time at 80 th percentile) • have the same tools available to students as the operational items in the test (e. g. calculator, highlighter, periodic table, etc. ) • DO NOT count toward the student’s final score

ADMINISTRATION Test Administration • Monitor to ensure that students only have access to the accessibility supports listed in the Oregon Accessibility Manual • Cover or remove instructional visual stimuli/posters from the testing environment • If breaking up the test into multiple sessions, allow students to finish all presented items on the screen before pausing the test. • If students pause the test for less than 20 minutes, they will be able to review or change questions already completed. • If students pause the test for more than 20 minutes, they will no longer be able to return to previously completed items when they log back in.
