Versatile Budget Development • Users can prepare multiple versions of budgets and later decide which version is to be submitted with the proposal • Oracle Grants Proposal automatically creates the number of periods based on the duration of the proposed work. It also provides users with the flexibility of redefining periods if necessary. • Users can choose to enter a budget at a period level, which allows the user to enter the direct and indirect amounts without entering a detailed budget for the period. • Users can also decide whether to apply the pre-defined overhead, employee benefits, and inflation • Rates that were defined during the setup process. 7
